The Return

Wild & Wonderful MountainFest is proud to return after a long 5 year hiatus on America’s Weekend, July 4-7, 2024, featuring The Kentucky Headhunters, Darryl Worley, Motorcycles & More! A Long Weekend filled with days & nights of riding, music, and non-stop entertainment will bring the event back to its roots and help kick off what we hope will be the next 15 year ride.

All of the fun kickstarts on Thursday July 4th with great local and regional artists, vendors, and all that you would expect the way MountainFest brings it. With MountainFest’s favorite Emcee, the one and only Jack Schit, the fun and games will be packed in between some great music, rides, and the biggest bar in WV, the Coal Bucket Saloon. Yes, the Coal Bucket Saloon will be built out in all its glory underneath the Big Top right out in the parking lot of Triple S Harley-Davidson.

Bastard Bearded Irishmen

You’re more likely to believe these guys are from Dublin then the South Hills of Pittsburgh. An immensely talented and dedicated group of musicians that could hold their own on stage with The Pogues, Flogging Molly or Dropkick Murphys. No band from Pittsburgh makes me want to drink more.

– Randy Baumann, WDVE Morning Show

Pittsburgh-based Bastard Bearded Irishmen is one of the most entertaining and energetic live shows today. Their sound is an original, ferocious blend of traditional and contemporary Celtic music, mixed with punk, gypsy and high-energy rock n’ roll. Bastard Bearded Irishmen, or BBI, was originally intended to be a one-night-only tribute for a dear, departed friend. Jimmy Bastard and Ben Jaber shared a passion for Irish music and enlisted Dan Stocker on drums and Danny Rectenwald on mandolin to form the nucleus of the band.

That Arena Rock Show

That Arena Rock Show is the ultimate high energy theatrical tribute to "Classic" Rock N' Roll. Performing legendary rock anthems that ruled the airwaves in the 70s and 80s. Including artists like: Led Zeppelin, Aerosmith, AC/DC, Bon Jovi, Guns N Roses to name a few.

This show will take you on a trip back in time, turning every sized venue into an arena for a night! Get your lighters out and your fist in the air. This rock show is more than just music - it’s an experience!

Ducain

Hailing from the hollers and hills of West Virginia, Ducain makes music in the dusty places of the American south where tradition and progress come to fight. Themes of lost love, envy, family, brawling and repentance weave through their music, reminiscent of the region's rich musical heritage.

Ducain's Jeremy Sargent writes, sings, and plays with Southern soul, while Austin Lewis fills the spaces with melodic fire. Rich Mills and Jared Holley set the foundation and shake the ground with rolling thunder.

The band comes together to labor with one another to create something bigger and better than themselves. Ducain takes inspiration from bands such as Kings of Leon, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Free, The Rolling Stones, and countless others, helping create a sound all their own.

Dave Bray USA

Dave is a USN/USMC Veteran who considers his "Music on a Mission" to be a continuation of his Service. He has dedicated his career to honoring our American Heroes- our police, firefighters, military, and veterans.

Dave has performed with Rock Legends Aerosmith, Shinedown, Lynyrd Skynyrd, as well as Country Stars Charlie Daniels, Travis Tritt, Lee Greenwood, Brantley Gilbert, Hank Williams Jr., & Toby Keith!

His rock rendition of the "Star Spangled Banner" is one of the most popular renditions of the song. It has garnered Millions of Views and over 1.5 Million streams.

3 Nuts & A Woody

Are you ready for a party? 3 Nuts & A Woody will ensure that you are moving non-stop and having the best time of your life!

Due to overcrowding and dilapidation, inmate vv00dee easily escaped prison planet delta 6. Hi jacking a cargo freighter, he quickly set out for his home planet of Bindlesnif. remembering where he planted his stash of nut bushes, he raced towards them with lightning speed, collecting three in one pass!

In time, he would nurture these three nuts and teach them the musical ways of his elders . Now, years later, they travel the universe in disguise ,both hiding from intergalactic space police, and spreading little joy as

Mountain Monsters Willy and Jeffro

In the Appalachian Mountains, there are legendary and unidentified creatures roaming around. A dedicated group of hunters and trappers are devoted their lives exploring these mysteries. Co-founding members of Appalachian Investigators of Mysterious Sightings. (A.I.M.S)

Jeff "Jeffro" Headlee & William "Willy" McQuillian

Willy, the backwards MacGyver, both said he can build a trap to hold anything - any can. Willy prefers to build his traps using things he finds himself for salvages from junk yards. Willy's day job is a tree trimmer, and his extensive knowledge about the properties of different woods gives him unique insight as he builds the wood and metal traps built to catch Appalachian's Cryptids.

Jeff, describe by one of the producers as "Jeff, the Genius", he is arguably the brains of the operation as he handles research and technology, and he has the ability to recall mountain folklore traditional history. Jeff runs a thermal camera on night-hunts and organizes witnesses to be interviewed before investigations. When he's not hunting monsters, Jeff joins forces with his boys building and repairing motorcycles with his business H & S Custom Cycles
